Abstract
El artículo analiza la aparición y desarrollo en Japón durante el siglo XIX de un tipo de fotografía de ficción, las recreaciones de escenas de género y tipos, en relación con la orientación de la producción fotográfica al comercio con Occidente, así como las características y temática que se explotaron en estas imágenes con destino al espectador occidental. [ABSTRACT] The article analyzes the emergence and development of a type of fictional photography (the reconstruction of genre scenes and types) in Japan during the 19th Century, related to the fact that the photographic production was directed to the Western market. This includes the characteristics and themes which were exploited in these images for the Western viewer.
