Abstract

Se estudian las relaciones entre aspectos geomorfológicos e hidrogeológicos de las regiones graníticas y, en especial, su influencia en el balance hídrico y su papel fundamental en la interacción entre Geodiversidad y Biodiversidad. Partiendo de un modelo conceptual, se diseña un modelo cuantitativo y se aplica en ocho escenarios que difieren por la proporción de superficie con regolito y afloramientos, la profundidad del regolito y el régimen de precipitaciones. [ABSTRACT] This article studies the relationship between geomorphic and hydrogeologic variables and, specially, its influence on the hydric balance and its fundamental role on the interaction between Geodiversity and Biodiversity. A conceptual model is built and then a quantitive version is applied in eight scenarios defined by surficial distribution of regolith and outcrops, regolith depth and rainfall distribution.
