Abstract
Nicolás Gómez Dávila is an isolated figure in the Colombian and Latin American thought in general. From an aristocratic tendency, he shows a radical distance to the modern world through a gende, annotations, and a literary figure: the auhtenticl reactionary. Since his death, his figure has gained enormous influence, especially in the Germanic-speaking world and Italian.
