Abstract
A research group at the Complutense University in Madrid (Spain) applies to nominal word formation patterns the kind of semantic analysis that has been employed with grammatical morphemes in functional-typological research. Gutiérrez Rubio focuses only on six deverbal old Czech suffixes associated with two main semantic roles: Agent and Instrument.
