Abstract
[ABSTRACT] The considerations/reflections forming the content of this proyect present the conceptual organism called Elogio a la Espalda. This entity inserts painting in a pertinent way as a sceptic observator of the cultural references diffused by mass media dealing with culture. The mode of operation of this organic mechanism is the assembling, in an intertextual and interreferencial way. It works dialogically with collaborating writers in the diferent scenifications of the performance, and it establishes a relation to the spectator activating his view through the painting and the photography. This disposition of interrelations proposes an heteronym of the painter who, through a permeable action called MEAT making of, undertakes a wider lecture of the incarnated and constructs a revealed painting, a grisalla which the own experience of expectation, recording and edition will incarnate as witnesses. The pathetism is the present ingredient in his meditativeness/reflectiveness and makes use of the symptomatology of the metonymical object rupturing the painting and he dramatizes the end of the painting as the critical form of the performance as a ritual de paso valuing the experimented pictorial act. The performance continues his evolution like a cinematographic saga and it enlarges and varies according to the location and the participating artists. The dialogic vocation makes of it an inhabitant of the intermediary space between contemporary Art and what is supposed to be Art in the society of consume and tourism. At the end of this allegory, it will be issued a fragment of the painting as a postcard: Post MEAT. Assuming a final adoxografic strategy, the rupture of the painting works/ has to be taken as the critique of the value of totality as the referent of the experience. It discovers in the distruction the penetrative reality of the experience: the pathetic effort of containing the seen in a painting has broken/disintegrated, or is finally constructed as indication.
