Abstract
En este documento se analizan los hábitos de lectura y estudio de los estudiantes universitarios relacionados con los estudios que cursan. Esta investigación es probablemente la primera que se ha realizado sobre estos aspectos en la Facultad de Ciencias Económicas y Empresariales. La investigación descansa en 600 entrevistas telefónicas realizadas a estudiantes elegidos aleatoriamente durante finales del mes de abril de 1990. Los resultados de la investigación muestran un bajo nivel de lectura en general entre los estudiantes, así como algunos hábitos poco deseables que dificultan el normal aprendizaje de éstos. En las conclusiones del estudio, el autor sugiere a los profesores algunas lineas de actuación para subsanar la deficiencias encontradas y mejorar así la formación de los estudiantes.
Thi s paper analyses the reading and study habits of the university students related with their studies. This research is probably the first that has been effected on these subjets in the Economics and Business Administration Faculty. It is based on 600 telephone interviews with randomly selected students conducted during the last week of apri1 1990. The results reveal a general low level of reading involvement among the students and some underisable habits affecting the normal learning of the students. In the study conclusions, the author suggests to the professors specific lines of actions to follow in order to correct certain deficiencies and to improve the education of the students.
