Abstract
He querido reflejar en este trabajo las fuentes o influencias folklóricas, literarias y de ciertos personajes nobles de la sociedad de la época, tanto de El burlador de Tirso de Molina como de Don Juan de Molière, además de realizar un estudio comparativo de ambas obras para analizar los elementos de convergencia o de desunión en una y otra comedia.
De forma exhaustiva, he querido mostrar prácticamente todo lo que han escrito sobre el tema de don Juan expertos como Menéndez Pidal, Márquez Villanueva, Gendarme de Bevotte y otros, afín de exponer el estado de la cuestión actual del mito de don Juan, intentando aportar en mis conclusiones cuáles son las teorías que se mantienen más sólidamente y cuáles son las hipótesis superadas por los críticos.
I wanted to reflect in these paper folk and literary sources and also certain noble personages of the society of the time, both El burlador de Sevilla of Tirso de Molina and Don Juan of Moliere influences, plus a comparative study to analyze the elements of convergence or disunity in both comedies. Exhaustively, I wanted to show virtually everything they have written experts about Don Juan as Menendez Pidal, Marquez Villanueva, Gendarme of Bevotte and others in order to expose the state of the current issue of the myth of Don Juan, trying to contribute in my opinion what are the theories that remain more solidly and what overtaken by critical assumptions are.
