Abstract
La presente investigación tiene como objetivo establecer Tipologías Modales Multivariadas en Personalidad Eficaz en contextos de niños y niñas de 8 a 12 años chilenos y establecer las diferencias posibles en función de las variables edad, sexo y país (España y Chile). Como requisito previo se ha realizado una adaptacion del cuestionario de personalidad eficaz - primaria /8-12/es. En el capítulo I dedicado al marco conceptual y al planteamiento del objetivo del trabajo se entregan los antecedentes teóricos en relación al constructo de personalidad eficaz, formulado por Martín del Buey y Martín Palacio, sobre el que se viene realizando distintas investigaciones hace más de una década. Se hace una revisión de los antecedentes conceptuales en que se sustenta el constructo. Se aborda el concepto de el tipo modal multivariado, que permite la agrupación de los individuos en clases o tipos centrándose en la similitud de sus perfiles en base a más de un rasgo, destacando las técnicas de agrupamiento por conglomerados y los estudios realizados en torno a las Tipologías en Personalidad Eficaz. Para finalizar el capítulo I contempla una descripción de los cuestionarios de personalidad eficaz aplicados en Chile. En el capítulo II dedicado al campo empírico se presentan los análisis y resultados del estudio. Con una muestra formada por 2015 sujetos, 753 españoles (52.7% hombres y 47.3% mujeres) y 1262 chilenos (54.8% hombres y 45.2% mujeres). Todos ellos presentan edades comprendidas entre los 8 y 12 años. Se presentan los análisis psicométricos de fiabilidad, validez de estructura, además del análisis factorial confirmatorio análisis de diferencias en función de la varable edad, genero y país, los baremos en función de las diferencias encontradas. Y en base a estos resultados se presentan las tipologías obtenidas en contextos chilenos y se comparan con las obtenidas en contextos de igual edad y género españoles. Finalmente en el capítulo III se presentan las discusiones y conclusiones del estudio. Se finaliza con la presentación de las referencias bibliográficas utilizadas y los anexos correspondientes.
The following research aims to adapt the Effective Personality Questionnaire - Primary / 8-12 /It Is in contexts of Chilean children from 8 to 12 years old. The study is made about the differences existing according to the variables gender, age and country. Moreover, Multi-varied Manners Typologies in Effective Personality. In Chapter I, it is given the theoretical background in relation to the construct of Effective Personality formulated by Martín del Buey and Martín Palacio, on which it has been conducted various investigations for over a decade. This construct is formed by four categories of I, which in turn are formed by different dimensions. In the category Strengths, it is found “self-concept and self-esteem”; Demands made by motivation, attributions and expectations: Challenges formed by overcoming problems and decision-making; Relationships formed by communication, empathy and assertiveness. It is also made a review of the conceptual background in which the Effective Personality construct is based on, this is: Bandura's self-efficacy, studies on intelligence, emotional intelligence and maturity; and contributions from their own disciplines. The literature review also includes the Multivaried Manners Typology, science of human types which tries to bring order in the field of individual differences, by studying the traits isolated and in combination to others, in this case the classification is made in function of the traits that compose the Effective Personality. Therefore we chose the multivaried manner type, which allows the grouping of individuals into classes or types focusing on the similarity of their profiles based on more than one trait, highlighting grouping techniques of conglomeration. Finally, Chapter I provides a brief description of Effective Personality questionnaires applied in Chile. Chapter II presents analysis and results of the study. With a sample of 2015 subjects, 753 Spaniards (52.7% men and 47.3% women) and 1262 Chile (54.8% men and 45.2% women). All of them having ages among 8 and 12 years. Psychometric reliability analysis, validity of structure, besides of confirmatory factor analysis, scales, obtaining satisfactory and acceptable results that allow to establish significant differences in multivaried manner typologies in Effective Personality are presented. It turns out very interesting the difference referred to the country variable, where Spanish students present an average significantly higher than Chilean students’ average. Regarding the establishment of typologies, it is chosen to ask for five groups, obtaining similar profiles in the same variable. Finally, in Chapter III, the discussions and conclusions of the study, with another contribution in the line of the assessment of the construct of Effective Personality are exposed.
