Abstract
Este trabajo de investigación tiene como tema central el vínculo en sesiones de arteterapia con niños hospitalizados. Su objetivo principal es identificar aquellos elementos que favorezcan la relación entre terapeuta y paciente que se han podido comprobar en el ejercicio de la práctica académica en hospitales infantiles de la Comunidad de Madrid. Se ha elaborado siguiendo los planteamientos de la metodología cualitativa y concretamente los paradigmas fenomenológico y reflexivo y el método de estudio de casos múltiple. Para acercar al lector a la comprensión de estas temáticas se ha revisado la teoría de Winnicott, y Melanie Klein, fundamentalmente, considerando la teoría de las relaciones objetales y la constitución del Yo como piedras angulares para la fundamentación teórica del mismo. Así mismo, se expone el perfil de paciente pediátrico y el concepto de hospitalismo que define los posibles efectos que causa la hospitalización en los niños. También, se revisan las cualidades del arteterapia y se analiza su indicación en el contexto hospitalario donde el arteterapeuta ayudará a constituir un ambiente de sostén y posibilidad creadora que permitirá al paciente conectar con la capacidad y por tanto, reconectar con la salud. Como conclusión se afirma que existen elementos favorecedores del vínculo en arteterapia médica y que este está condicionado en gran medida por el marco institucional y sus profesionales, así como por los familiares del paciente y la salud del paciente.
The main topic of this research is the relation between the therapist and hospitalized children on art therapy sessions. Its principal target is to identify elements that benefit this relationship between therapist and patient. It has been elaborated on the frame of qualitative research, and more specifically on the phenomenology and reflexive paradigm, as well as the multiple case study method. In order to familiarize the reader with these issues, it has been performed a theoretical review of Winnicott´s “constitution of the self” theory and Melanie Klein´s object relations, as the leading theoretical foundations. Likewise, it is exposed the profile of the pediatric patient and the concept of hospitalism which defines the effects that hospitalization may cause in children. In the setting of art therapy, the art therapist will help to establish an environment where holding and creative ability allow the patient to connect with possibility and due to this, to reconnect with health. As a conclusion it is affirmed that there exist elements which benefit the relationship between therapists and patients in medical art therapy and also that they are considerably determined by the institutional frame and its professionals, and so as by the family of the patient and the health of the patient.
