Abstract
This work have two parts: first, it´s dedicated to the religious doctrine that arises from the return of Ibn Tumart from the East to al-Magrib, when he brings all the knowledge he had learned there and stands against it of the Almoravids. At this point we analyze the journey, the doctrinal lines, the formation of the caliphate and the construction of the mosques of Tinmal and Marrakesh after the conquest. I study the peculiar religious architecture created by the Almohads caliphs. There will be a special mention to the use of the dome of mocárabes. The second part focuses on the arrival of the Almohads to alAndalus and the construction of the aljama mosque in Seville. Finally, we would like to emphasize the fundamental role of epigraphy and numismatics as means of propaganda of religious doctrine.
