Abstract

Taking some assumptions of the Postcolonial Studies as starting points, we propose to denounce the technical and commercial strategies developed by powerful consortia of companies and states coming from an English-speaking and Northern axis. Our aim is to point out that another kind of innovation in possible, based on users and social priorities, for Digital Humanities too.

Tomando como puntos de arranque algunas premisas de los Estudios Postcoloniales, proponemos denunciar las estrategias técnicas y comerciales desarrolladas por poderosos consorcios empresariales y Estados de los países anglófonos y del Norte. Nuestro objetivo es poner de relieve que otro tipo de innovación es posible, basada en los usuarios y las prioridades sociales, también en Humanidades Digitales.
