Abstract
El almacenamiento geológico profundo (AGP) es la solución que internacionalmente está aceptada como más segura y viable para la gestión final de los residuos radiactivos de alta actividad. El diseño incluye una serie de barreras naturales, compuestas por la roca almacén, y de ingeniería, constituidas por el contenedor metálico y un material de sellado situado alrededor de los contenedores que contienen dichos residuos con el fin de mantenerlos aislados de la superficie.
