Abstract
El presente trabajo de investigación tiene por objeto el estudio integral de la competencia de la Corte Penal Internacional en el sentido predeterminado por el Estatuto de Roma, lo cual se lleva a cabo a partir de los criterios jurisdiccionales que definen una situación concreta con base en su dimensión material, personal,temporal y espacial. Para tal fin, esta tesis doctoral se divide en seis capítulos, de manera que cada uno de ellos responde a una pregunta de investigación concreta. Así, en primer lugar, teniendo en cuenta que la competencia general de la Corte es una cuestión preliminar a cualquiera de los mecanismos para su ejercicio efectivo, el Capítulo I responde a la doble pregunta de sobre qué crímenes y cómo puede activarse la jurisdicción de aquélla, además de considerar la definición de crimen internacional en relación con los crímenes que constituyen la competencia material de la Corte con arreglo al Estatuto de Roma...
The purpose of this dissertation research is to study the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court in the way established by the Rome Statute, which is carried out from the jurisdictional criteria that define a specific situation based on its material, personal, temporal and spatial dimension. For that, this doctoral thesis is divided into six chapters, so that each of them answers a specific research question.
