Abstract
Proto punk, proto performer y post porno.
This is how Luis Antonio de Villena ends his introduction to this book, an introduction entitled, “Dandys, androgynous, ginandras”: “I wish that the book by Gloria G. Durán on the magnificent Baroness Elsa von Freytag-Loringhoven would serve as an incentive for wisdom and transgression in beauty and scandal in a world that today requires both. Knowing today that more than a century ago excellent women have entered these Turkish pavilions without eunuchs a Huri, but — at least — with androgynes and ginandras. The gods want it. " Dandy baroness, Dada Queen 's book delves into the life of the most exalted of all the personalities that the Dada was good at giving us. A woman without limits and without parallel, a woman who spent a life giving us a different version of herself than the previous one and, paradoxically, completely unique and totally her own. A woman who according to the author is the only dandyism that came half a century later. Proto punk, proto performer and post porn.
