Abstract
From a collaborative project of several libraries on the Moncloa campus that became a "Jane's university walk" and turned into a library dance, the irrepressible need arose to discover noise and other unread ways of approaching a library. That need came together so much, so much that it came together in a “solid soup”, that we are us, that we are three. The three of us have the library as a field of inquiry, as a tool to apprehend what questions, matters and worries us. So we ask ourselves: Are unexpected letters in glosses in printed text noise? What sounds in the studs and in the comments on the sidelines? Where is the place of these children of materialized noise and solid sound? Do vandalized books deserve a meeting with readers? And on the other hand: Can we think and learn by singing and dancing? Where are the sounds in the library? What knowledge is denied to us with the posters of silence? If a disco is a record collection, can a book club be a club for dancing stories? Is cuplé one of the fine arts? Who wants (fine) arts when you can go out dancing? Do libraries have nocturnal lives? Fucking art! Lets dance! ” "What is the use of being so smart if you are not even able to keep up with me" (Soleá Morente)
