Abstract
Abstract: presents the methodology and the results of study focussed on the drawing up of a typology of regional innovation systems in Spain. The first part offers the state of art about the concept of Innovation Systems analysing the main authors and approaches and studying the empirical application, especially in a regional context. The second part offers our own empirical results, starting with a description of the indicators used, explaining the different statistical multivariant techniques and the typology of the Spanish Regional Innovation Systems. The last part offers a descriptive analysis of the indicators used in this study that confirms the heterogeneity of the Spanish Regional Systems of Innovation
