Abstract
[ABSTRACT]This device is entrusted to a web, which is articulated and unfolds via a PDF with Hyperlinks to a Web site which houses videos that depend upon it. These videos are a composition of images in movement, static images and texts that I have been compiling in a large digital archive. The interest of this archive is to be able to create video panels* which, as well as depending on the Web site, can also be presented in multichannel video projections. The video panels make up a rhizome, a “taxonomy” that materialises in five categories – also interlinked – regarding transformations of the subject: transgender, hybridization, metamorphosis, mimicry and becoming. These categories are “divided” in an unfathomable, rhizomatic classification, changeable and without conclusion, with no final synthesis. Thus I have felt it necessary to approach the most relevant classification models of modernity.
