Abstract
Con el trabajo final de máster Postfeminismos: representaciones de género en la cultura popular neoliberal se van a analizar las relaciones que se establecen entre la cultura popular de las últimas décadas, más concretamente la producida a partir de 1980 bajo la forma de novelas y películas románticas, series de televisión o música pop, con la representación de la mujer en dichos textos populares y su recepción por parte de las consumidoras localizadas dentro del contexto cultural del neoliberalismo, entendido éste como un proceso de aceleración capitalista que se produce en la misma época. Para ello se van a utilizar una serie de herramientas asociadas con los Estudios Culturales que van desde la sociología cultural hasta el análisis de las estructuras económicas (especialmente las relacionadas con los grandes conglomerados de la información), pasando por un necesario estudio de los propios productos culturales a través del análisis visual y literario de los mismos. Por otro lado y como una parte importante del trabajo se desarrolla en clave generacional el estudio remite ocasionalmente a la historia del pensamiento feminista.
