Abstract
El Triásico de la región Nuévalos-Cubel (Zaragoza) se depositó en
el flanco SO del Umbral de Ateca, límite de la Cuenca Ibérica durante
la mayor parte de este período. La sedimentación, controlada por falías
de dirección NO-SE, comenzó al O por abanicos aluviales retrogradantes,
seguidos de ríos meandriformes, diversos complejos costeros
siliciclásticos y al comienzo de la sedimentación de las facies Muschelkalk>
el Umbral queda totalmente cubierto por sedimentos. Se
hace una interpretación sedimentológica de los materiales triásicos y
un intento de correlación con el borde de la Cuenca del Ebro y con
la Rama Castellana de la Cordillera Ibérica.
[ABSTRACT]
The Triassic deposits of the Nudvalos-Cubel Area (Zaragoza) were
laid down on the 5W. Margin of the Ateca High, a paleozoic block
acting as basin limit for most of the Period. Retrograding alluvial
fans followed by meandering rivers are found to the W., followed by
coastal siliciclastic complexes. The sedimentation generalizes at the
beginning of the Muschelkalk facies. A sedimentological interpretation
and an attempt of correlation with the SW. Ebro Basin and the
Castilian Branch of the Iberian Ranges are presented.
