Abstract
El objetivo de este estudio es la comparación en cirugía bucal entre dos anestésicos locales: la bupivacaína y articaína. Los pacientes mostraron mayor preferencia por la articaína, ya que con la bupivacaína mostraron mayor dolor e inflamación. La articaína parece ser un anestésico más apropiado para la extracción de terceros molares inferiores debido a la menor duración de su efecto anestésico en los tejidos blandos, menor dolor por los pacientes en el postoperatorio inmediato y a la preferencia personal de los pacientes por este fármaco. //The aim of this work is the comparation between two local anaesthesics in the surgery of the mouth: bupivacaine and articaine. Patients demonstrated more preferences by articaine because the had more pain and inflammation with bupivacaine. Articaine is the anaesthesic more used in the extraction of low third molars because of its few anaesthesic effects (after the extraction), less pain in the inmediate postoperative and the personal preferences of patients by this anaesthesic.
