Abstract
En este trabajo hemos intentado acercar al lector a algunas de las contribuciones de Robert Lucas que la Academia Sueca ha destacado como razones determinantes para la concesión, a tan influyente macroeconomista, del Premio Nobel de Economía 1995, En esencia, hemos presentado el concepto de expectativas racionales como parte del concepto más ambicioso de equilibrio de expectativas racionales, se ha expuesto la interpretación de Lucas de la curva de Phillips y hemos abordado el significado básico de la, así llamada, "crítica de Lucas".
