Abstract
As a result of the combined interpretation of a gravity study, of geological mapping and the lineament analysis of TM Landsat Imagery from the central sector of Extremadura region (Western Spain), a series of units delimited by gravity alignment have been established, confirming that here is a structural setting of the area in blocks. The limits, although irregular, are limited by high density fracture zones, whose intersections may have a major structural and metallogenic interest. The integration of the different data, and an exhaustive analysis of the rock densities have permitteted thourgh the gravity modelling of several profiles to obtain the shape, and the extension in depth of the granitic bodies (outcropping and subsurface plutons) which characterize this sector of Extremadura
