Abstract
La idea inicial sobre la que gira esta tesis, es la observación del comportamiento de la línea como herramienta y recurso al servicio de la tridimensionalidad en el dibujo, en su relación con el espacio y en el ámbito de lo artístico. El objeto de esta observación es plantear el análisis de la relación existente de la línea en dependencia con la construcción de otras realidades y la comprensión del mundo circundante. El título responde a la idea de que la línea es, supuestamente, un arma de posibilidades ilimitadas en la configuración de dibujos tridimensionales, y estos a su vez intervienen en la realidad del mundo. Abordamos este enfoque basándonos en una noción de dibujo amplia, donde ese trazar líneas, deja de relacionarse exclusivamente con grafismos sobre un papel, siendo éste un concepto sobradamente trasgredido a lo largo de la historia, extendiendo nuestra idea de dibujo, no sólo a la línea en el plano, sino también en el espacio. The initial pivotal idea for this thesis is the observation of the line’s behavior, both as a tool and as a resource that serves three-dimensionality in drawing, in its relation to space and in the artistic field. The purpose of this observational study is to propound an analysis of the relationship of dependency that operates between the line and the construction of other realities, and also with the comprehension of the surrounding world. The idea behind the title is that the line is, purportedly, a weapon with unlimited possibilities in the configuration of three-dimensional drawings; and that these, in turn, intervene in the reality of the world. The point of departure for the consideration of this viewpoint is a wide-ranging concept of drawing, where the plotting of lines is no longer exclusively related with a graphics on paper, a notion which has been widely transgressed throughout history. Drawing, thus, is a concept that encompasses not only a line on a plane, but also a line in space. The act of drawing expresses an attitude of confrontation with the world, and the line that explores space is its physical manifestation...
