Abstract
La tesis aborda el fenómeno migratorio de los españoles que llegaron a Berlín en un periodo de tiempo concreto; el comprendido entre los años 2008- 2013. El trabajo se acota teniendo en cuenta las siguientes circunstancias: a) En primer lugar, el objeto de estudio son jóvenes españoles (y no tan jóvenes), titulados universitarios de ambos sexos que han decidido emigrar recientemente a Alemania. b) La investigación empírica se ha limitado al marco socio geográfico de la ciudad de Berlín, donde el colectivo de españoles emigrados ha ido creciendo paulatinamente en los últimos años. c) En tercer lugar, para la interpretación de los resultados se ha recurrido a la aproximación teórica de Pierre Bourdieu; en concreto, a las aportaciones de este autor referidas al espacio social y a sus transformaciones. Objeto y Objetivos de la tesis Esta investigación trata de responder a la siguiente pregunta: ¿qué trayectoria vital tiene el joven titulado español, que, en los últimos años, ha decido trasladarse para trabajar y vivir en Berlín? Para responder a esta pregunta se han tenido en cuenta diferentes circunstancias personales: familia, formación, profesiones/oficios y perspectivas de futuro. El fenómeno se aborda desde una perspectiva holística; es decir, se analizó quién es el recién llegado, cómo fue su pasado en España y cómo se desarrolla su vida personal y laboral en Berlín. La tesis se basa en un estudio empírico transdisciplinar que explora aspectos sociológicos y antropológicos que se aúnan en torno a una Sociología de las Migraciones (Sayad, A. 1999) que considera la inmigración y la emigración como los dos aspectos indisociables de un mismo fenómeno...
The thesis deals with the migratory phenomenon of Spaniards who came to Berlin in a specific period of time; between the years of 2008 – 2013. The study takes into account the following circumstances: a) First, the object of study is Spanish young people (and not- so-young), university graduates of both sexes who have recently decided to emigrate to Germany. b) Secondly, the empirical research has been limited to the social and geographical context of Berlin where the group of Spanish immigrants has grown gradually in recent years. c) Thirdly, in order to interpret the results, the theoretical approach of Pierre Bourdieu has been used; specifically the contributions of this author which refer to social space and its transformations. Purpose and Objectives of the thesis: This research seeks to answer the following question: what is the trajectory of the young Spanish graduate, who, in recent years, has decided to live and work in Berlin? To answer this question consideration has been given to the different personal circumstances: family, training, professions / job and future prospects. The phenomenon is presented from a holistic perspective; i.e. there is a consideration of who the newcomer is, what their past was in Spain like and how their personal and professional life in Berlin has been developing.
