Abstract
El objetivo principal del presente trabajo es establecer el panorama histórico del thriller español de 1969 a 1983, ello a través de su contexto concreto, de sus corrientes y categorías, y de sus ejemplos más ilustrativos. Tanto el panorama de deriva postgenérica de la época como la multiplicidad característica del thriller en sí mismo como intergénero, dificultan la disquisición puramente genérica, entendida esta en términos canónicos o convencionales. Pero este trabajo se propone bucear precisamente en las abundantes características y peculiaridades históricas del thriller del momento, resumen de las numerosas corrientes del cinema autóctono de la época, así como del propio policíaco europeo (y también, en cierta medida, norteamericano), a través de la impregnación de diversas corrientes internacionales. Y todo ello porque nos proponemos demostrar que el thriller español de 1969-1983 constituye un panorama privilegiado de la evolución internacional del thriller y de su aclimatación –o mera importación- a la idiosincrasia de nuestro país. Asimismo, este trabajo pretende recuperar, tanto para la historiografía como, en algunos casos, para el patrimonio fílmico español, diversos films que han permanecido olvidados o incluso extraviados, o simplemente han sido objeto del más absoluto ostracismo histórico-documental...
The main objective of this work is to stablish the historical landscape of the Spanish thriller from 1969 to 1983, through its specific context, its currents and categories, and their more illustrative examples. Both the landscape of post-genres drift from the time and the multiplicity property of the thriller in its own right as inter-genre, hinder the purely generic disquisition, understood in terms of canonical or conventional. But this work intends to just dive into the abundant features and historical peculiarities of the thriller of the moment, summary of many currents of country cinema of this era, as well as the own police European cinema (and also, to some extent, North American), through different international currents impregnation. And all this because we intend to demonstrate that the Spanish thriller the Spanish thriller from 1969-1983 constitutes an privileged overview on the international evolution of thriller, and their acclimatization - or simple import- to the idiosyncrasies of our country. In addition, this work aims to recover, both for the historiography as, in some cases, for the Spanish film heritage, various films that have remained forgotten or even lost, or have just been absolutely historical and documentally ostracized. This has been proposed a periodization that subdivides this time span in two stages, whose point of caesura marks the death of the dictator Francisco Franco. This historical fact sets a clear rupture between one period and another, reaffirmed by the transition to a democratic system. However,the comparison between the two periods in the period 1969-1983 (the "Dark Period" from the late Franco era from 1969-1975, and 1976-1983 Spanish film transition), is specially interesting, by allowing the recognition of continuities or differences between both periods. This is also given testimony to the profound historical transformations of Spanish society and its reflection in cinematography...
