Abstract
El artículo repasa los primeros años de formación de la Biblioteca Provincial de Toledo, sobre todo en cuanto a su ubicación precisa y sus relaciones con la Universidad y el Instituto Provincial, a través de algunos documentos conservados en el Archivo Histórico Provincial de Toledo.

The article reviews the first formation years of the Provincial Library of Toledo, especially in terms of its precise location and its relations with the University and the Provincial Institute, through some documents preserved in the Provincial Historical Archive of Toledo.
