Abstract
La presente investigación explora el tratamiento de los contenidos culturales y el desarrollo de la competencia intercultural de los manuales de ELE (Español como lengua extranjera) del nivel inicial, publicados tanto en España como en China considerando respectivamente las características fundamentales y entornos pedagógicos distintos. El estudio tiene como objetivo principal analizar los bloques dedicados especialmente al aprendizaje de la cultura en los manuales del enfoque comunicativo con una ficha de variables que se establece basándose en los trabajos sobre la competencia intercultural y el proceso de la interculturalidad. El motivo es ofrecer una nueva y eficaz propuesta para desarrollar la competencia intercultural de los estudiantes chinos adultos desde el primer contacto con la cultura meta en contexto de la cultura materna.El trabajo sigue la metodología fundamental de las ciencias sociales; está formado por la investigación teórica, la recogida de datos y el análisis de datos. Desde una perspectiva cuantitativa, se analizaron los datos estadísticos que se recogieron de veinticuatro manuales de catorce métodos autóctonos de España desde el año 2006 hasta el 2016, y de seis manuales de cuatro métodos publicados en China entre los años 2014 y 2016. Aparte del análisis descriptivo de dichos manuales, la investigación del tratamiento de los contenidos culturales de los mismos comenzó con la descripción general de su componente cultural, y luego ofreció el análisis textual de los contenidos culturales y el de la ejercitación correspondiente y, por último, la investigación sobre los recursos de soporte. The present investigation explores the treatment of cultural contents and the development of the intercultural competence in the SFL (Spanish as a foreign language) textbooks of the basic level which are published in Spain and in China, considering respectively the fundamental characteristics and their different teaching and learning environments. The main objective of the study is to analyze the specific section dedicated especially to cultural study in the communicative textbooks, using a sheet of variables based on the investigation of the intercultural competence and the process of interculturality, in order to offer a new and effective proposal to develop the intercultural competence of Chinese adult students from the first contact with the target culture (C2) in context of native culture (C1).The work follows the essential methodology of the social sciences formed by theoretical research, data collection and data analysis. From a quantitative perspective, the statistical data was collected from twenty-four textbooks of fourteen methods which were published in Spain from 2006 to 2016, and from six textbooks of four methods which were published in China between 2014 and 2016. Apart from the descriptive analysis of these textbooks, the investigation of the cultural contents of the textbooks began with a general description of its cultural section and then, a textual analysis of the cultural contents and their exercises, and finally, a research on their support resources.
