Abstract
Muyuqmarqa es la estructura arquitectónica de forma circular que destaca en el actual parque arqueológico de Saqsaywamán porque está compuesta por bloques megalíticos que forman tres circunferencias insertadas en un cuadrado. Durante los años 2004 al 2008 hemos realizado excavaciones de investigación arqueológica en este Sector con el fin de buscar respuesta a las siguientes interrogantes:1. ¿Cuál fue el proceso constructivo del Muyuqmarka? 2. ¿Qué función tuvo esta estructura? 3. ¿Qué asentamientos culturales existieron en este Sector? En la presente tesis doctoral, primero conoceremos el ámbito de estudio en sus aspectos generales de ubicación, etimología y medioambiente; luego explicamos la metodología de investigación utilizada y las técnicas de investigación tanto para la excavación arqueológica como para el análisis de fuentes escritas...
Muyuqmarqa is the circular architectural structure that stands out in the current archaeological park of Saqsaywamán because it is composed of megalithic blocks that form three circumferences inserted in a square. During the years 2004 to 2008 excavations of archaeological research have been carried out in this Sector in order to seek answers to the following questions: 1.
