Abstract
The main purpose of this doctoral thesis is to reconstruct the geographical and human peculiarities of the affective, occupational and creative environment of the rare and forgotten poets exiled in the United States East Coast. It also offers a digital platform that is both a methodological proposal and a specialized database for research on this field of study. It puts forward a possible transdisciplinary methodology for the exile studies and delves into a still little-studied area: that of writers exiled in the United States. To achieve this goal, it is articulated through four chapters. The first of them, entitled «Transdisciplinary and deterritorialized historiography of the exile in the United States», reviews the previous historiography and methodology of the studies on the poetry of exile, and proposes a methodology of its own, inspired by these and adapted to the object of study. The transdisciplinary approach has proved being essential when it comes to coherently organizing heterogeneous trajectories and creations without causing the loss of their characteristic diversity. To this end, a series of open categories, influenced by a historiographic structure, and based on migratory tendencies, have been proposed. Migratory trends have been studied through a series of parameters: first, a geographical parameter; secondly, affective-social, occupational and literary parameters...
