Abstract
El patrimonio artístico y cultural guarda un enorme potencial didáctico, pero a pesar de ello, no goza del valor que merece en el campo de la educación, siendo incluso a día de hoy un elemento que parece estar olvidado tanto por los materiales curriculares como por un gran número de docentes, cuya consecuencia se refleja en la sociedad como una falta de conciencia patrimonial que, en los peores casos, se manifiesta en forma de ataques y agresiones hacia los bienes patrimoniales.
En el presente Trabajo de Fin de Máster se realiza una revisión de la presencia del patrimonio artístico y cultural en la ley educativa vigente y en los libros de texto, así como una evaluación de los conocimientos que presenta el alumnado sobre el tema. A partir de los resultados obtenidos, se elabora una propuesta de integración del patrimonio en la didáctica de la Historia que pueda ser llevada a cabo tanto dentro de los centros educativos como fuera de ellos, en colaboración con organismos externos.
The artistic and cultural heritage has an enormous didactics potential, but despite this, it does not enjoy the value it deserves in the field of education, being even today an element that seems to be forgotten both by the curricular materials and by a large number of teachers, whose consequence is reflected in society as a lack of heritage awareness that, in the worst cases, manifests itself in the form of attacks on heritage assets. In this Master`s Thesis, a review of the presence of artistic and cultural heritage in educational law and in textbooks will be carried out, as well as an evaluation of the students’ knowledge on the subject. Based on the results obtained, develop proposals for integration of heritage in the teaching of history that can be carried out both within the educational centres and outside them, in collaboration with external institutions.
