Abstract
Esta tesis doctoral tiene por objeto analizar la evolución experimentada por la política de seguridad española de la Transición, desde la llegada al poder del Partido Socialista, en octubre de 1982, hasta su definitiva concreción, a finales de 1988. El análisis bibliográfico de esta cuestión nos hizo considerar que se hacía preciso una profunda revisión historiográfica de este objeto de estudio a fin de: 1) analizar en conjunto actividades que, aun perteneciendo a un mismo tipo de política la política de seguridad, habían sido examinadas de forma separada, lo que dificultaba la obtención de una visión global sobre esta materia; 2) reexaminar, a través de la aplicación de los principios teórico-metodológicos defendidos por la Historia del Tiempo Presente y la Historia de las Relaciones Internacionales, el relato que los propios protagonistas de estas actividades habían intentado fijar a lo largo del tiempo; y 3) completar la información disponible sobre aquellos actores y procesos pertenecientes a este ámbito que la bibliografía todavía no había abordado con suficiente profundidad...
The purpose of this PhD dissertation is to analyse the evolution of the Spanish Security Policy of the Transition, from October 1982, when the Socialist Party took office, until its definitive concretion, at the end of 1988. The bibliographic analysis of this question made us consider the need for a deep historiographic revision of this object of study, in order to: 1) analyse, as a whole, different activities which, although belonging to the same type of policy the securitypolicy, had been studied separately, which made it difficult to obtain a global vision on this matter; 2) re-examine, through the application of the theoretical-methodological principles defended by the History of the Present and the History of International Relations, the story that the actors of these activities have tried to set over time; and 3) complete the information available on those actors and processes on this matter, that the bibliography has not yet addressed in sufficient depth...
