Abstract
Introduction: The present summary collects partial data of the Doctoral Thesis in development with the title: From Neuroscience to Teaching. Implementation of a neuroeducational program in the school, developed at the Madre Teresa Public School in Calcutta, in the south of Madrid. Objectives: (1) To know the neuropsychological maturity of the sample. (2) To analyze the relationships between neuropsychological constructs and learning. (3) To identify learning predictors for the language area. (4) To identify other variables relevant to the design of the program. Method: Evaluation of the neuropsychological maturity and attention of 100 students in the first year of primary education, through the Cumanin, Enfen and Csat-R tests and subsequent descriptive and predictive analysis of the constructs, analyzing the relationship between them and the behaviour observed in the classroom, through different frequency statistics, linear regression and intersubjects ANOVAs. Results: The data obtained show that there are positive and negative relationships between constructs with a small probabilistic impact, but that a detailed analysis of them can be useful for educational design. We observe that there are positive relationships between reading and other indices such as: articulatory language, phonological fluency, the capacity for planning and dual execution, while other variables such as the nature of the stimulus and fluid intelligence must be considered in the methodological design. Conclusions: The neuroeducational approach through experimental design can provide useful knowledge to optimize the school's educational response.
