Abstract
Según la definición oficial del Instituto Nacional del Cáncer, se denomina Cáncer a aquellas enfermedades en las que hay células anormales multiplicándose sin control ycon capacidad para invadir tejidos cercanos 13.Según el informe publicado recientemente por la Sociedad Española de Oncología Médica (SEOM), los datos de incidencia de cáncer es España en 2020 indican la aparición de 277.394 nuevos casos estimándose, para años próximos un incremento delos mismos 2.La terapéutica utilizada en el paciente oncológico es variada y depende de muchos factores, como son del tipo de tumor, estadio en el que se encuentre y las características individuales del paciente. Además del tratamiento antineoplásico propiamente dicho se administra una terapia de soporte para contrarrestar y prevenir los efectos adversos (antieméticos, corticoides, hierro, heparina, antiálgicos…)...
