Abstract
El interés que nos guía en la realización de este trabajo remonta a precedentes investigaciones sobre la literatura chilena de las últimas décadas y representa, de alguna manera, su natural continuación. A principios de los años 2000, en Italia, mucho espacio se estaba dedicando en ámbito académico a los estudios sobre las nuevas generaciones de escritores de América Latina. En ese período nuestra atención se dirigía, en cuanto a Chile, especialmente a los autores de la Novísima generación y a escritores de extraordinario éxito comercial como Antonio Skármeta e Isabel Allende. Sin embargo, el nombre de Pedro Lemebel ya empezaba a circular entre los investigadores que en la década anterior se habían dedicado a los Estudios de género y a las Teorías queer, en un primer momento especialmente en el ámbito de las manifestaciones de carácter artístico-performativo, gracias a su trabajo en el colectivo las Yeguas del Apocalipsis...
The interest that guides us in the realization of this work goes back to some previous investigations on Chilean literature of the last decades and represents, in someway, its natural continuation. At the beginning of the 2000s, in Italy, a lot of space was being dedicated, in the academic world, to studies on the New generations of Latin American writers. In that period our attention was directed, regarding Chile, especially to the authors of the so called Novísima generación and to writers of extraordinary commercial success such as Antonio Skármeta and Isabel Allende.
