Abstract
El problema de la injusticia epistémica planteado por Miranda Fricker hace más de una década aborda aquellas discriminaciones sufridas por determinados sujetos de conocimiento en relación con sus habilidades cognitivas, comprensivas y comunicativas a causa de su pertenencia a un determinado grupo o colectividad social, como puede ser el género o la etnia. En este trabajo abordamos la posible existencia de una conexión entre esta cuestión y otras injusticias sufridas por las mujeres, en este caso en el ámbito laboral. Además, reflexionamos acerca del papel que juegan en esta el Derecho y las políticas públicas, las cuales son, al mismo tiempo, reflejo del paradigma político-social y herramientas de transformación de este. Mediante la puesta en evidencia de la existencia de vínculos entre Epistemología y Ética pretendemos evidenciar y desentrañar algunas de las causas que contribuyen a las discriminaciones perpetradas contra las mujeres, de manera que sea posible diseñar acciones que permitan combatir este problema de manera estructural.
The problem of epistemic injustice laid out by Miranda Fricker more than a decade ago addresses those discriminations suffered by certain knowers regarding their cognitive, comprehensive and communicative abilities due to belonging to a particular social group, such as their gender or their ethnicity. In this essay we confront a hypothetical connection between this issue and other injustices undergone by women, particularly in the working field. In addition to this, we consider the role that the Law and public policies play in this problem. These are, concurrently, a reflection of our socio-political paradigm and the tools that can be used to transform it. By uncovering the existence of bonds between Epistemology and Ethics we try to show and unravel some of the causes of discriminations held against women, making possible to design actions that enable the dispute of this problem structurally speaking.
