Abstract
El presente artículo resume un conjunto de reflexiones en torno a las políticas públicas aplicadas de manera formal e informal en Venezuela en relación al control de la natalidad. Específicamente se desarrollan en este artículo las opciones que tiene la mujer venezolana para evitar un embarazo no deseado, el papel de la educación sexual en la educación venezolana y las alternativas a las que se ve obligada a recurrir en caso de quedar embarazada. El artículo se propone un estudio documental comparativo. Está organizado en las siguientes secciones: el derecho de la mujer en la Historia, en la constitución venezolana, bases legales, papel de la educación sexual en el currículum vigente, opciones a las que puede recurrir la mujer venezolana en caso de experimentar un embarazo no deseado y por último algunas reflexiones y recomendaciones finales. Las legislaciones en la materia son comparadas buscando establecer semejanzas y diferencias.
The present article presents a set of reflections concerning the public applied policies of a formal and informal way in Venezuela in relation to the control of the birthrate. Specifically there develop in this article the options that the Venezuelan woman has to avoid a not wished pregnancy, the paper of the sexual education in the Venezuelan education and the alternatives to which one sees obliged to resort in case of to remain a pregnant woman. The article is organized in the following sections: the woman rights in the constitution, legal bases, paper of the sexual education in the in force curriculum, options to which the Venezuelan woman can resort in case of experiencing a not wished pregnancy and finally some reflections and recommendations.
