Abstract
El punto de partida de este proyecto es comprender qué significa la fluidez del género o el género fluido, y por qué este término reciente, que las personas eligen para definir su identidad, está cada vez más presente en los ámbitos de la moda y del arte. Esta investigación analiza cómo ha evolucionado socialmente el concepto de identidad, y en particular el de género, en el contexto cultural actual, y estudia tres aspectos interrelacionados: el cuerpo, el vestido y el deseo. La tesis estructura la investigación en tres partes. La parte I, establece un diálogo entre patrones culturales de género que a lo largo de la historia han sido reconocidos en el mundo de la moda y reformula la realidad construida que proponen en múltiple, compleja y flexible. Muestra otras expresiones del género como: andrógina, afeminado, neutra, unisex, intergénero, pangénero, género fluido..., e identifica los procesos de subjetivación como sistemas no lineales y abiertos en los que las personas están en constante construcción de sí mismas. Sistemas cruzados que pueden re-escribirse, adaptarse y alterarse con el paso del tiempo al contexto cultural cambiante. The starting point for this project is to understand what gender fluidity or gender-fluid means, and why this recentterm, which people choose to define their identity, is increasingly present in the fields of fashion and art. This research analyses how the concept of identity, and in particular that of gender, has evolved socially in the current cultural context and studies three interrelated aspects: the body, clothing and desire.This thesis structures the research in three parts. Part I establishes a dialogue between cultural patterns of gender that throughout history have been recognized in the world of fashion, and reformulates the constructed reality into one that is multiple, complex and flexible. It shows other expressions of gender such as: androgynous, effeminate, neutral, unisex, intergender, pangender, gender-fluid ..., and identifies the processes of subjectivation as non-linear and open systems in which people are in constant construction of themselves. These crossover systems can be rewritten, adapted, and altered over time to the changing cultural context.
