Abstract
La influencia de la Reforma protestante en el Derecho hereditario supuso la transformación de las donaciones pro anima, en donaciones para la gloria de Dios o para las necesidades urgentes de las ciudades. Asimismo, los señores territoriales pasaron a sustituir a los obispos en la función de albaceas testamentarios de quienes morían sin testamento o, habiendo testado, no habían nombrado albacea. La influencia de la Reforma en la supresión de la causa del negocio jurídico parece probada en el Derecho anglosajón, no en el Derecho alemán. Tampoco aparece probada su influencia en el mantenimiento de la comunidad germánica.

The influence of the Protestant Reformation on hereditary law meant the transformation of pro-anima donations, in donations for the glory of God or for the urgent needs of the cities. Also, the territorial lords happened to replace the bishops in the function of testamentary executors of those who died without testament or having tested had not appointed executor. The influence of the Reformation in suppressing the cause of the legal contracts seems proven in Anglo-Saxon law, not in German law. Nor is its influence proven in the maintenance of the Germanic property.
