Abstract
El estudio de la historia de las ideas no es ajeno a la reflexión metodológica, pero los métodos que utilizamos obedecen a una particular comprensión de la materia. Por ello, en el presente texto abordamos dos famosas interpretaciones de la obra de Maquiavelo, marcadas por una comprensión de la misma prácticamente opuesta, a través de las cuales se podrá ilustrar el debate en torno a dos ópticas posibles para leer los textos de los clásicos.
The study of history of ideas is not foreign to the methodological reflection, but the methods we use obey to a particular understanding of the matter. Because of this, in the present article we approach two famous interpretations of the work of Machiavelli, marked by an almost opposite understanding of it, through which it will be possible to illustrate the debate between two possible optics to read the classic texts.
