Abstract
Las nuevas tecnologías cimentaron una estructura social cada vez más conectada, en donde la inmediatez y la rapidez adquirieron un rol preponderante, enlazándose el mundo digital cada vez más con nuestra cotidianidad. Así, es cada vez más común que desarrollemos nuestros espacios sociales, individuales y sexuales por medio de estas plataformas hiperconectadas. Sin embargo, no siempre sabemos el tratamiento que se da a nuestro contenido. Este estudio analizó el uso de las NTICs como plataformas para el ejercicio de la sexualidad, en donde también se hace presente el patriarcado y las violencias de género. Para ello, se estudió específicamente la difusión de imágenes íntimas sin consentimiento en el contexto chileno, en tanto resulta ser un fenómeno que vulnera el espacio personal, sexual y digital de las mujeres chilenas, cuya problemática está álgidamente creciendo en la sociedad actual, sin tener políticas públicas y legislativas para su prevención y tratamiento. Para ello, se realizaron entrevistas cualitativas de tipo abiertas a cuatro mujeres que han sobrevivido a la difusión de sus imágenes íntimas, cuyo relato otorga información explícita y crucial para el entendimiento de estas experiencias como fenómenos de vulneración sexual facilitada por las tecnologías. A partir de su relato, se logran visualizar las principales temáticas que rodean este fenómeno, las aparentes causas y consecuencias, así como también la importancia de generar redes de apoyo que visibilicen esta situación desde una perspectiva de género. Para finalizar, se proponen futuras líneas de actuación para su abordaje en Chile, a fin de que este estudio contribuya a visibilizar el modo en que la difusión de imágenes íntimas sin consentimiento se ha convertido en un fenómeno de violencia sexual facilitada por las tecnologías que está afectando de forma creciente a las mujeres chilenas, desde la comprensión de las propias afectadas de esta violencia sexual y de género digital.
The new technologies cemented an increasingly connected social structure, where immediacy and speed acquired a preponderant role, linking the digital world more and more with our daily lives. Thus, it is increasingly common for us to develop our social, individual and sexual spaces through these hyperconnected platforms. However, we do not always know how our conte nt is treated. This study analyzed the use of NICTs as platforms for the exercise of sexuality, where patriarchy and gender violence are also present. To this end, the dissemination of intimate images without consent in the Chilean context was specifically studied, as it turns out to be a phenomenon that violates the personal, sexual and digital space of Chilean women, whose problems are sharply growing in today's society, without having public and legislative policies for its prevention and tre atment. To do this, qualitative opentype interviews were conducted with four women who have survived the dissemination of their intimate images, whose story provides explicit and crucial information for understanding these experiences as phenomena of sex ual violation facilitated by technology. From her story, it is possible to visualize the main issues surrounding this phenomenon, the apparent causes and consequences, as well as the importance of generating support networks that make this situation visibl e from a gender perspective. To conclude, future lines of action are proposed for its approach in Chile, so that this study contributes to making visible the way in which the dissemination of intimate images without consent has become a phenomenon of sexu al violence facilitated by the technologies that are increasingly affecting Chilean women, from the understanding of those affected by this digital sexual and gender violence.
