Abstract
En este estudio planteamos una reflexión respecto a diferentes relatos lésbicos en el contexto artístico, teniendo siempre en cuenta obras contemporáneas que han establecido diálogos y posiciones críticas dentro del colectivo lésbico. Esto se debe, a que los sujetos que elaboran estas producciones reproducen estereotipos que no responden a la condición sexual y el deseo de aquellas que son representadas bajo un paradigma patriarcal.
Así, las producciones artísticas y representaciones lésbicas han formado parte de la historia del arte que conocemos y estudiamos de manera constante, solo que en un contexto más contemporáneo podemos analizar estas obras y observar como todas, hasta el siglo XX, se pueden atribuir en su mayoría a unos sujetos artistas varones que, a raíz de su deseo en torno a las vidas lesbianas, sexualizadas por sus miradas, han instituido unas lecturas predeterminadas sobre estas. Todo esto fundó un imaginario sobre las experiencias lesbianas, sexuales o no, ajeno a los sujetos realmente lésbicos que, a lo largo del tiempo, seguimos arrastrando. Aunque podamos afirmar que hoy día es mucho más común encontrar estos trabajos realizados por sujetos artistas mujeres lesbianas, también es pertinente destacar lo tramposo que tienen estos imaginarios sobre las propias
artistas y su obra. Partiendo de esta problemática, indago en la raíz de estas producciones que resultan un conflicto para el colectivo lésbico y, mediante estrategias de visibilidad e invisibilidad, pongo en evidencia este fenómeno a través de la apropiación y resignificación de las imágenes.
In this study we approach a reflection about the existing differences in the world of art concerning lesbian issues regarding different reports, considering contemporary works that have set dialogs and positions inside the lesbian community. This happens because of the subjects that elaborated these productions reproducing stereotypes that do not correspond to the sexual condition and desire of the ones that are being represented under a patriarchal paradigm. Artistic productions and lesbian representations have taken part of art history as we know it, but we can analyze these works in a contemporary context and we can see that, until the twentieth century, can be attributed to only male artist who, through their desire around lesbian experiences, sexualized by them, have stablished a certain reading over them. This founded an imaginary about lesbian experiences, sexual or not, foreign to the actual lesbian subjects, that we keep maintain nowadays, and even if today we can find works that have been done by lesbian artists, we should highlight the damage that these imaginaries have caused to these artists and their work. Starting from this premise, I investigate into the roots of those productions that resulted into a conflict for the lesbian community, and through strategies of visibility and invisibility, I reveal this happening through visual clarity.
