Abstract
El objeto de esta investigación doctoral es conocer el papel que juegan los hombres- los personajes masculinos- en las películas de Pedro Almodóvar, y comprender sus relaciones con los personajes femeninos y conocer el patrón masculino existente en su cine, el que se presenta en su producción cinematográfica cumpliendo un rol social, familiar, etc., que da lugar a un destino trágico para ellos. En el mundo que Pedro Almodóvar ¨crea¨ las mujeres sufren y ellos también, nadie puede escapar. Todos están dentro del juego patriarcal.2. Marco teórico. El marco teórico se mueve entre la Teoría de los estereotipos que provienen tanto de la sociedad como de su representación artística, es decir, del interior del propio cine, literatura, teatro, etc. Como personajes son el resultado de la forma especial de ver el mundo de P. Almodóvar, basados tanto en la observación y la experiencia, como en los precedentes artísticos que usa como referencia del cine español y de otros países...
The purpose of this doctoral research is to know the role what is played by men -male characters- in the films of Pedro Almodóvar, and to understand their relationships with female characters and to know the existing masculine pattern in his cinema, which is presented in the film production fulfilling with a social and family role, etc., which results in a tragic destiny for them. In the world that Pedro Almodóvar ¨create¨, women suffer and men too, no one can escape from it. All of them are inside of the patriarchal game.2. Theoretical frameworkThe theoretical framework moves between the Theory of stereotypes that come both from society and from its artistic representation, that is, from within the cinema, literature, theater, etc. As characters, they are the result of the special way to see the world of P. Almodóvar, which are based both on observation and experience, as in the artistic precedents that use as reference of the Spanish cinema and of other countries.The framework focuses as much on the stereotype as on the analysis of the deep relationships of the environment in which the dramas (under the comedy) happen: family...
