Abstract
Se realiza un estudio exhaustivo del desarrollo del sistema esquelético en las familias Pelobatidae y Pelodytidae (Amphibia, Anura). Se efectúan descripciones detalladas de los estadios de desarrollo (Gosner, 1960) en que se inicia la condrificación y la osificación de casda hueso en las especies ibéricas de dichas familias: Pelobates cultripes y Pelodytes Punctatus. Se hipotetiza que las características más llamativas del sistema locomotor del orden Anura-número reducido de vértebras y existencia en el tarso de dos huesos excepcionalmente alargados aparecieron por alteraciones filogenéticamente bruscas de los procesos de desarrollo...
An exhaustive study of the development of the skeletal system is carried out in the Pelobatidae and Pelodytidae families (Amphibia, Anura). Detailed descriptions are made of the developmental stages (Gosner, 1960) in which the condrification and ossification of cassa bone begins in the Iberian species of these families: Pelobates cultripes and Pelodytes Punctatus. It is hypothesized that the most striking characteristics of the locomotor system of the Anura order-reduced number of vertebrae and existence in the tarsus of two exceptionally elongated bones appeared due to phylogenetically abrupt alterations of the development processes...
