Abstract
La presente investigación surge de la necesidad de analizar estrategias dramáticas y escénicas relacionadas con el teatro documento, cuya intención consiste en denunciar, criticar y/o visibilizar distintos formas de abuso que operan sobre la sociedad y que generalmente son consecuencias de decisiones tomadas por diversos representantes del Estado. Las actuales condiciones sociales, políticas y culturales, los distintos tipos de abuso de poder, las marcadas desigualdades económicas, la desmemoria histórica, el alto nivel de violencia, las múltiples estrategias que se utilizan para suministrar a la sociedad de medios (de ínfima calidad discursiva) con la intención de mantenerla enajenada y en un alto nivel de ignorancia, la obstinación por enriquecerse a costa de lo que sea y de apropiarse de territorios mediante estrategias abyectas que ultrajan incluso el valor de la vida, son solo algunas de las tácticas que laceran el tejido social. En este sentido el teatro documento se asume como un medio que busca analizar esos modos de operar, a fin de articular vías que impulsen como primer objetivo un mayor nivel de concienciación social, que a su vez pueda derivar en transformaciones sociales evidentes y verificables. Por lo tanto con la intención de ejercer algún tipo de resistencia frente a la perenne atrocidad con la que se nos gobierna revisaremos algunas propuestas dramáticas y escénicas (así como los postulados teóricos a partir de las que estas se articulan) que han alzado la voz frente al constante atropello. A través de esta dinámica se buscaran identificar posibles medios que ayuden a modificar nuestras actuales condiciones de vida. Para lograr tal objetivo se realizara un análisis pormenorizado que incluya las principales creaciones de teatro documento tanto textuales como escénicas surgidas en México desde 1968, (fecha en la que se escribe Pueblo Rechazado de Vicente Leñero, primera obra de teatro documento mexicano que se convertirá en el punto de partida de una tradición que continua vigente) hasta la actualidad; así como las bases teóricas en que estas se sustentan...
This research came up from the necessity to analyse on-stage and drama strategies related to Documentary Theatre, which intends to expose, criticize and/or visualize the many different ways of abuse happening within a society, and which mainly come as a consequence of decisions made by the State representatives. Current social, political and cultural conditions, the different kinds of power abuse, substantial economical inequalities, historical oblivion, the higher levels of violence, the multiple strategies used to provide media (which portray the worst discourse quality) with the intend to keep the society divested and inside a high level of ignorance rates, the obstinacy to become rich – no matter the means – and to hijack territories through heinous strategies that even outrage the value of life, are just some of the tactics that lacerate the social fabric. In this matter, Document Theatre is assumed a way of analysis for such means, aiming to build ways to impulse, as a first goal, a higher level of social -issue awareness which, at the same time, could be able to lead to evident, verifiable social transformations. Therefore, by intending to resist the consistent atrocities which rule us, we will review some drama and on-stage proposals (as well as the theory principles from where those are built) that have raised the voice before such consistent outrages. These dynamics mean the sought to identify the possible means that would help modify our current life conditions. In order to achieve this, there will be a detailed analysis that includes the main creations in regards to Document Theatre, both in text and on stage, that have come up in Mexico since 1968 (in this year, it was written Rejected People [Pueblo Rechazado] by Vicente Leñero. This was the first Mexican Documentary Theatre play, which would become the starting point of an uninterrupted tradition up to current days); as well as the presentation of theory basis where such is founded...
