La atención clínica integral al paciente oncohematológico (OH) representa uno de los retos del actual sistema sanitario, debido al creciente número de pacientes y su complejidad, el incremento del arsenal terapéutico que requiere la individualización de la terapia y la necesidad de múltiples especialistas para ofrecer al paciente unos cuidados continuos desde un abordaje multidisciplinar. Sin embargo, los farmacéuticos oncohematológicos (FOH) centran casi exclusivamente su actividad en la revisión de los tratamientos farmacológicos y su elaboración. Comprehensive clinical care of oncohematologic patients (OHP) represents one of the challenges of the current health system, due to the increasing number of patients and therapeutic options and their complexity, which requires the individualization of the therapy and the need for multiple specialists to offer the patient a continuum of care from a multidisciplinary approach.
