Abstract
Mi investigación analiza la influencia de los tres modelos políticos desde los años 1931 a 1952, II República, Guerra Civil y los primeros 13 años de la dictadura de Franco, sobre la atención de los pacientes ingresados en la Casa de Dementes de Santa Isabel de Leganés durante estos periodos y establecer comparaciones y diferencias entre la atención a los pacientes que ingresaron en dichos periodos históricos. Para el desarrollo de esta investigación he utilizado una serie de criterios metodológicos que incluyen como base fundamental la revisión y análisis de las historias clínicas de los pacientes ingresados en el centro durante esos años, a las cuales he tenido la oportunidad de acceder a través del Archivo Histórico del centro, el ahora llamado Instituto Psiquiátrico Servicios de Salud Mental José Germain (IPSSM José Germain)...
My research analyzes the influence of the three political models from the years 1931 to 1952, the Second Republic, the Civil War and the first 13 years of the Franco dictatorship, on the care of patients admitted to the “Casa de Dementes de Santa Isabel de Leganés” during these periods and to establish comparisons and differences between the care given to patients who were admitted in those historical periods. For the development of this research, I have used a series of methodological criteria that include as a fundamental basis the review and analysis of the medical records of patients admitted to the center during those years, which I have had the opportunity to access through the Archive Historic center, now called the José Germain Mental Health Services Psychiatric Institute (IPSSM José Germain)...
